Bedtime Stories Movie
Release Date: 25 December 2008
Rated PG for mild language and crude humor
Whatever they dream up... he has to survive.

What if the stories you told came to life? Adam Sandler plays Skeeter Bronson as an uncle who tells his niece and nephews bedtime stories that start to come true. Bedtime Stories is a 2008 family fantasy comedy with a unique story line: Skeeter is a hotel handyman who tells vivid stories to his sister's children, only to find they come true-with him in a starring role. After he figures out that he is creating a sort of alternate world, he tries to take advantage of the phenomenon by weaving his own wishes into one crazy story after another. Eventually we find that the kids' contributions make each story turn out in surprising ways. There are Roman chariots, raining gumballs, cowboys, fireballs and aliens to keep the movie engaging.
The film will be directed by Adam Shankman. Sandler's production company Happy Madison and Gunn Films are producers, and Walt Disney Pictures will distribute the film.

Wall-E Release Nov. 18
Last Updated (Saturday, 20 December 2008 19:06) Written by Michelle Friday, 07 November 2008 23:51
The wait is over! Disney Pixar's latest movie Wall-e will be on DVD November 18. The Wall-e movie is another great Disney Pixar hit. The storyline is that humans have messed up the earth so much they have to leave the planet and wait for the robots to clean it up. But the robots all break down. Except for Wall-e. (Waste Allocation Load Lifter -- Earth-Class).
Wall-e falls in love with Eve. Her full name is Extra Terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator. She is a sleek, sophisticated probe droid who is far more advanced than Wall-e. She can fly and has her own very destructive laser gun.
Wall-e is directed by Andrew Stanton who won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for his movie Finding Nemo. Andrew Stanton thought of the idea for the Wall-e movie before Toy Story was made.
r was the next step.Story
According to John Lasseter in a presentation to Disney corporate investors:
| “ | WALL-E is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot and his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again. Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL·E falls in love with EVE, a robot from a probe that comes down to check on Earth, and she's left there to check on and see how things are going and he absolutely falls in love with her. | ” |
WALL-E is an acronym for Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth-class.

Hidden Mickeys in Movies
Last Updated (Sunday, 21 December 2008 15:36) Written by Michelle Tuesday, 10 August 2004 06:30
Do you know about Hidden Mickeys? You will find them (if you look closely enough) in Disney parks and in all the Disney movies.
In Tinkerbell's new movie, look for the Hidden Mickey head on the music box that Tink repairs!
Also, a recent movie Mickey is in Ariel's Beginning: look at the head of the Octopus to find it.
Here are some parts of the Peter Pan movie which may be hidden Mickeys:
On Captain Hook's ship, on the back of Hook's chair is a Mickey head. You will notice this while Hook is warming his feet in a tub of water: look closely at the chair to see Mickey's head carved into the top of the chair.
The Lost Boys' tree has knotholes or doors that they dive into to enter the secret hideout. There is one large knothole, and two smaller ones forming the mouse's ears.
On the pirate's ship, near the end of the movie, Wendy's little brother Michael, puts a canon ball in his teddy bear. Near him, there are 3 canon balls that form a Mickey.
Peter pan opens a present from Captain Hook after capturing The Lost Boys, Wendy and her brothers. To see the hidden Mickey, which is black you will need to pause immediately at the point when the bomb explodes after the grey smoke starts to come out of the box. The hidden Mickey is a large black shape on the bottom right of the T.V. screen. It happens when he opens the present at 6 o'clock.
Bolt is available on DVD and Blu-Ray

"Bolt" is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray. Audiences may think the 3-D computer-animated film came from Pixar Studios. Pixar started with hits like "Toy Story" and has recently created "Wall-E."
Bolt is a comedy about a show-business dog starring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus. Bolt was created from Disney's own animation studio and represents an important move by Disney to recreate a part of the company that ran out of power in the last decade. The decline in Disney animation came about partly because of cooler offerings by studios like Pixar, which Disney bought in 2006.
Bolt looks like a fun movie to see over the holiday weekend, appropriate for children. It has been
overshadowed by "Twilight" the teen-vampire movie but it does appeal to slightly different audiences.
Disney, as always, does a great job of merchandising their movie offerings. Bolt plush toys are flying off the shelves! The animals (Bolt, Mitten the Cat, and Rhino the hamster) are full of cuteness and will probably be on a lot of youngsters' Christmas lists.
